A DIVINE EXPERIENCE
Many students enjoyed being
able to get away from all the troubles
in
life and attended several Chris–
tian-based clubs at school. The Fel–
lowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
met Thursday mornings before
school, while a new club, First Prior–
ity, met on Tuesday mornings.
This year FCA and First Prior–
ity sponsers were Coach Clayton
Callicott and Coach Scott Hord. FCA
was a time for athletes, both com–
petitive and recreational, to come
together for a time of worship and
praise. First Priority, an upbeat club
with live bands, had speakers rang–
ing from students to celebrities to
minister to the students.
Another club which met to dis–
cuss passages from the Bible and
talk about daily life problems,
sponsered by Mrs. Artie Tuttle, was
the Bible Club. All of these clubs
were run in various ways and were
all united for one reason: to share
students' love
in
their faith.
A Time of Praise. Drew
