Business Leaders of America, or FBLA, is a club
that was dedicated to giving students "a small
glance into what the real business world i like,"
commented Jason Mosley. FBLA was involved
in the annual fund raiser of elling donuts. These
funds were used toward activities as ociated
with business learning.
VICA, or Vocational Industrial Club of
America-Autobody chapter kept their bodies in
shape, car bodies that is. Their main focus was to
prepare for competition focused on areas like
welding, refinishing, and plastic repair. The goal
was to accomplish a task efficiently in record
timing. They definitely put the 'v' in vroom!
The Culinary Arts chapter focu edmore
on the future prospects of students to com
rather than on gourmet meals. They tried to get
spon ors to finance them for better cooking
equipment so that future club members will be
b tterequippedforcookingcompetitions. There
is a chance this club will produce a few Martha
Stewarts, because they were very talented in the
art of negotiating and cooking!
