Ties
Spending quality time
with family might not have
been on the top of many stu–
dents "to do"list, but for many
it could not be avoided. Stu–
dents with siblings at the
school shared time together
before school, during school,
and after school.
Quite a few freshmen
realized that it was not so bad
having an overbearing older
sibling when they found that
they needed a ride to school. "

more is a definate plus," said
Heather Allen who caught a
ride from her sister Tiffany.
Several students only
get to spend a limited amount
of time with their family.
Derek Jennings explained,
"The only time I get to spend
withmy family is at the dinner
tableonschoolnights. I spend
most of my time either work–
ing or spending time with
friends."
Students found that
spending quality time with
family was not as bad as they
thought and was an impor-
tant part of their lives.
