ing Association camp proved

successful for both squads.

Varsity

cheerleaders

were

named DCA super squad and

won first place with their

original cheer "Super Team."

Junior varsity won first place in

overall competition and varsity

held second place in 58 squads.

Both squads won blue ribbons

for outstanding spirit, cheering

skill,

jumps, and stunts.

Varsity cheerleaders also

attended a stunt camp at the

University of Dallas, where they

learned partner stunts and

pyramrds.

Junior varsity gave the varsi–

ty a break during the third

quarter of the football games. J.

V. also held the run-through in

the opening ceremonies.
