West Monroe did in a 65-63

win over Capt. Shreve. Two

free throws after the final

buzzer capped a late comeback

that saw the Rebs score four

points in the final minutes.

Free throws also provided a

66-65 victory over Winnfield

with 20 seconds left in

overtime. After trailing most of

the game. West Monroe

fought' back to tie the game

at 63 at the end of regulation

play.

After being behind by 8 at

the end of the third quarter,

West Monroe rallied for a

narrow victory over Airline

70-67 in the opening round of

the Bossier Tournament.

Rebs had another close call

in the second game of the

Bossier Tournament, but they

held on to the lead for the

second close win over Capt .

Shreve, 69-65.

Jonesboro-Hodge gave the

Rebels a scare before West

Monroe made two free throws

with three seconds remaining

for a 50-49 victory.

District games didn' t change

the closeness but did change

who came out on top as the

Rebs fell to Carroll 56-55 and

to Neville 49-4 7.
