Lady

Rebs finish with w1nn1ng season

72/Girls' Basketball

With many conquests under

their belts, the Lady Rebs

ended up with a winning

season. "We are a more

experienced ball team, quicker

and more efficient. Last year

we depended on one or two

teammates, but this year all

six of us are capable of

scoring and doing our jobs,"

says Sharon Walters, a

three-year veteran.

Added to the already strong

Rebel team were LISA

all-states Kathy Aulds and

LeaAnn Jarvis both from

Ridgedale. Returning were

Sharlis Calhoun and second

team quad-A all-state Sharon

Walters, along with

interchangeable centers Lori

Thames and Denise

Foster-this group of ladies

led West Monroe to a 30-1

regular season.
