AMERICAN FIELD SERVICE
The American Field Service's major
purpose is to further the insight and friend–
ship among nations. To fulfill this objec–
,tive, the Owego chapter was host to Luis
Marky from Piurra, Peru, this year. The
members of the student chapter learned
much of Luis' country and customs, and he,
in turn, learned about our country. This
year's A. F. S. also benefited from the ex–
periences of Cindy Biddle who went to New
Zealand for a year. All in all, the members
of this year's A. F. S. did much to achieve
their ultimate goal.
