Former student teacher, Mr. Watson knows choir

A student teacher in the
spring semester of 1978, he
filled in fOI' Dr. Herring in the
spring of 1979 on many days
when she was involved in
festivals and other
music-related activities.
TherefOI'e, the students knew
him already and adjusted fairly
well. Mr. Watson seemed
happy with the position he
held. "I am quite thankful to
Mr. Pirkey and Dr. Herring fOI'
giving me the oppOI'tunity to
teach vocal music at West
Monroe High School," he said.
