Feature twirler, flags
add entertainment
to half-time show
Displaying color and precision, the
'79-80 flag corps assisted the band in
half-time performances.
In the summer, the flags attended
NLU Auxiliary Camp for a week and
took top awards.
Changes in this year's corps included
allowing four sophomore girls to
participate on the flag team because of
previous experience. New flags and
uniforms were also added.
Flag captain this year was Windy
McCormick, Assisting her was
co-captain Debbie Williams.
Twirling fire, knives, hoops, and
batons, Debbie Lawerence added
variety to the show.
