sion's batter lined a single to
right field and two men on base
scored. "That's just baseball. It
just wasn't meant for us to win
today," commented Coach Aulds
following the game.
When the District 3-AAAA
team was picked, West Monroe
had five players chosen. Kirk
Knowles, Buddy Aulds, Tim
McGrew, Wayne Cranford, and
Tim 0' Neal were all chosen.
Buddy Aulds was named Most
Valuable Player and Coach
Aulds was named Coach of the
Year for the second straight
year.
