For the second time in two
years, the Lady Rebel softball
team reached the playoffs. Wins
over Carroll, Farmerville, and St.
Frederick were included in an
undefeated regular season that
earned the Lady Rebels a trip to
the regional playoffs in 1979.
After defeating Bossier City
22-7, Minden 16- 13, and Nat–
chitoches Central 2Q-5; Coach
Claudine Ellerman took the Lady
Rebels to Denham Springs for
the state playoffs.
