the first high school game ever to be played at the Coliseum. ABOVE, South
delivers a crushing defeat to West Mecklenburg in a JS-0 shut-out at the
Homecoming game. BElOW, Bob Brinton, a 98 pound wrestler who was named
to the first All-Conference wrestling team, placed first in the sectionals, first
in the regionals, and fifth in the state, helped South to win the East Mecklenburg
tournament.
