To A Winning Seaso
The cross country team displayed
considerable talent by completing a
successful season. They placed fifth at the
Davidson College Invitational Meet with
102
points and placed fourth in the conference
meet. In one of their first meets, they came
in first by defeating Harding. Garinger, and
North. They defeated several other good
teams this year and boasted a record of
twelve wins and eight losses in the regular
season.

Burns was our number one runner
placed second in the conference meet.
Compton and Doug McNairy were also
outstanding runners. Joe Burns and
