GILMORE
The golf team, led by Eric
Pyle andGreg Van Beusekomhad
prepared even before August to
work towards victory for the regu–
lar season. Former phenomenon
Kevin Morrisey boasts, "I think this
year is going to be our break–
through season." Coached by
Danny Nowell, the team received
many helpful hints on how to help
improve their game. The team
played most of their matches at
Forrest Crossings and practiced
daily to work on their game strat–
egies to get ready for rivals such
as Brentwood and Centennial.
Many thought Franklin had a very
promising team in store for the
next couple of years because of
the many young guns who were
expected to step up with the im–
provement of their game. The
year came to end with an upset–
ting loss in the Regional Tourna–
ment. They placed second and
lost by only two strokes.
