Face
The Grit of the Ice
As the Franklin Rebels skated onto the ice the
tension mounted when members of rival teams met to
face off. The Rebels had a difficult time this season,
being in the toughest division, but they held their own.
Among Rebel fans, the hockey fever had just started
to grow and was gaining popularity and a winning
reputation.
Tennessee had not been known for hockey until
recently. Puck-slinger Josh Cohen exclaimed, "Sports
have never been so physical and cold at the same
time!" We had a rough start but ended with a bang
stated Patrick Totty. A new generation of hockey
players was born and they were known as the Franklin
Rebels.
