is club such as Family, Career, and
Community Leader of America, or FCCLA,
Health Occupation Students of America, or
HOSA, and Distributive Education Clubs of
America, DECA, that taught students what
it
took to be a influential leader in the future of
America. FCCLA addressed important social
issues through family and consumer sciences
education. DECA worked with fa hionmarket–
ing and busine s. Each year they ho ted a fash–
ion show for prom and made T-shirts for the
senior cla s. HOSA educated members and
student aboutnotonlyprofessionsin the health
field, but al o how to make healthy lifestyle
choices. With hands-on experience and in-depth
study, students were well prepared to make
choices for the future.
