MARCHING IN A
WINTJE WONDERLAND
As the football season wound
down, and the final competitions were
held, the FHS band took a much needed
and well deserved rest. After a summer
full of camps, and a fall full of classes,
practices, games, and competitions, most
bandmembers take thewinter and spring
off. This is not the case for one group of
hard working, motivated Rebels. This
group of students are members of the
FHS winter guard and percussion.
Whether it is spinning flags or rifles
in
winter guard, or beating to rythm on the
symbols, toms, and snares
in
winter per–
cussion, these members spend a lot of
their time practicing.
Due to their hard work and dedi–
cation, these winter clubs performed
muchbetter than
in
the past. They ranked
higher in competitions as well.
