Successful Year
The Student Council of the school year
1978-79, which was comprised of the
Executive Committee, and the three class
councils. planned activities both beneficial
and enjoyable for the student body.
The Student Council sponsored many
dances throughout the school year which
turned out to be great successes. These
students also sponsored the NCASC
convention in which student councils from
all over North Carolina visited South for a
few days to attend various workshops
dealing with student politics as well as
leisure activities, including a dance on
their final night.
