Drama Club
Displays Talent
The South Mecklenburg Drama Club helped
promote the theater in all aspects of school
life. Led by co-advisors. Mrs. Chris Rowell
and Ms. Carolyn Allen. the group was an
integral part of the South Mecklenburg
Fine Arts Department.
The Drama Club's most ambitious project
this year was its presentation of Noel
Coward's play
Blithe Spirit.
Through the
co-operation of the Drama II class. the
show proved to be a success and was
enjoyed by all who saw it. The Drama Club
provided a booth for the
I.C.C.
Rodeo
during Homecoming week as well as
visiting area theaters to see professional
productions. The Drama Club also played
an important part in the Fine Arts
Department's spring production, "Guys
and Dolls."
