to South
President Karen Harte was determined to
make the 1978-1979 year a productive one
for the lnterkeys. The club had an early
start by insuring the success of College
Day. Each member served as an usher to
greet both students and college represen–
tatives.
On Halloween. the girls visited the
Alexander Children's Home in Charlotte.
The club was so delighted with the
enthusiasm of the children, that they
" adopted" several and visited them quite
frequently .
The lnterkeys also decorated for dances.
helped to clean up after dances. and made
goodies for the teachers on their
workdays.
