Plans Activities
South Mecklenburg's aspiring politicians
acquire early experience by governing the
student body. The Executive Committee
coordinated South's Calendar for
1978-1979. These students planned a spirit
week filled with different activities each
day of the week preceeding Homecoming.
President El Chino Martin. who was also
the president of the NCASC for 1977-78,
led the Executive Committee in improving
the school and uniting and involving the
student body in school activities. The
other officers of the Executive Committee
are Vice-President Amy Turner. Secretary
Suzanne Isenhour. Treasurer Baker Smith,
