Undertakes
Helpful Deeds
Interact. directed by President Steven
Maye. worked to help better the school
and community. Some of the many service
projects done by Interact members
included such helpful deeds as cleaning up
the campus by picking up trash and storing
baggage for the Student Council Conven–
t ion. Interact also set up two discos for
South Mecklenburg and helped support the
American Cancer Society during the
organization's fund -raising drive in March
of 1979. Interact was very successful
thanks to the help of advisor Mr .
Bartholomew.
