With marching season over, the Marching
Band returned to E building and divided
into two
Symphonic
Emsemble.
new musical organizations–
Band and the Woodwind
The Symphonic Band was directed by Mr.
Jack Fetner. a new addition to South's
musical faculty. The group 's members
worked on improving their musical skills.
Mr. Ray Neel conducted the Woodwind
Ensemble which strove for excellence
while rehearsing concert music. The
stageband which was directed by Mr.
Fetner, performed during intermission of
Senior Follies as well as at a fund-raising
Hot Dog Dinner sponsored by the band
parents.
