Abilities
The 1978-79 Concert Orchestra was an
important part of the Fine Arts Depart–
ment at South. Directed by Mr. Ray Neel,
the orchestra's 43 members were selected
in individual auditions on the basis of their
musical ability .
Through daily practice and hard work , the
Concert Orchestra was able to present
several fine performances. The Concert
Orchestra also served as the pit orchestra
for the Fine Arts Department's spring
musical. "Guys and Dolls."
