Sabre 's Blade
Informs Students
Of Events
The Sabre's Blade was vital in informing
the student body of current events during
the school year. Under the guidance of
editor Adam Bernstein and advisor
Kathleen Tawney. the Blade staff worked
hard to recognize and publicize South's
students and activities. Through the paper.
the student body was provided with
knowledge and enlightenment for a slight
break in the everyday monotony of school
life.
A decision was made by the staff this year
to produce and distribute the Sabre's Blade
twice a month instead of weekly. This
decision enabled the staff to spend more
time on each individual edition of the
paper, to better fill students needs.
As advisor Kathleen Tawney once stated:
"Through hard work. never ending effort.
and investigative reporting. the Sabre's
Blade fought a never ending battle for
truth, justice, and the American way!"
