Pep Club Signs
Support Tearns
The South Mecklenburg Pep Club encour–
aged South's athletic teams by promoting
school spirit throughout the 1978-79 school
year. The members. with help from
advisors Mrs. Fowler and Ms.
Hill,
took
turns wearing the Sabre suit to various
school functions such as pep rallies, football
games, and basketball games. The Pep Club
also painted signs supporting sports
events. The main objective of the
members was to raise enough money to buy
a new Sabre suit to leave at South for future
years.
