Seniors Make
Their Dreams
Come True
"Making Our Dreams Corne True" was the
theme for the 1978- 79 Senior Follies. The
Follies were presented on the evenings of
March I, 2. and 3 at the South Mecklenburg
High School Auditorium.
The Senior Class started working before
Christmas and continued until opening
night. Mrs. James, Mrs. Rowell, Mrs.
Mclean, and Mr. Moss helped plan and
co-ordinate the show. Follies consisted of
several skits dealing with various aspects
of school life. The variety of acts offered
a wide scope of talent , taking the audience
from the ballet floor to the lunchroom line.
Senior Follies were emceed by Andy
Mottesheard and Brian Watterson who
portrayed the hosts of television's popular
show "Fantasy Island". Tile show was well
received by all who saw it and left the
audience with a foot-stomping, happy
feeling that will long be remembered.
