Club Members
Study French
Culture
This year's French Club,
Le Cerc/e
Francais,
was led by President Ester Kim
and advisor Darryl Blanton. In its activities,
meetings, and services, the club attempt–
ed to encourage the general comprehen–
sion of the French language as well as
promote an interest in the French people
and their culture.
Members of the French Club wore
costumes to brighten the school campus on
Foreign Language Day, and the club
provided a great service for the Student
Council Convention in November by
helping with refreshments. At their annual
Christmas dinner, members of the club
prepared various dishes in French cuisine.
They also enjoyed another meal, this time
prepared by experts, at Cafe Eugene, a
local French restaurant. Throughout the
year, French Club members enjoyed each
other's company and their mutual desire to
learn more of their special interest : French.
